Where are your camps located?
We hold our camps at Nazareth Academy in La Grange Park, IL and Midwest Training in West Chicago, IL. Stay tuned for new locations in the Chicagoland area coming soon!
Is this a full contact camp?
No. We use blocking shields, dummies, and other training equipment to practice safe tackling and blocking skills.
What positions is HIT for?
HIT is specifically for offensive linemen and can also be useful for tight ends who use similar skills.
What positions is Hogs N’ Dawgs for?
Hogs N’ Dawgs camps are for all offensive linemen and defensive linemen. Fullbacks, tight ends and linebackers who want to improve their blocking and tackling basics will benefit from this camp too.
What positions is I.C.E. Hawks for?
I.C.E. Hawks is for wide receivers and defensive backs. DB positions include cornerbacks and safeties.
What does my child need to bring to camp?
Most importantly, a willingness to learn and have fun! They should also bring a water bottle. If we are outside and your child has cleats, he should wear cleats (but they are NOT required). No helmets, shoulderpads or footballs are needed.
What happens to outdoor camp during inclement weather?
We love being able to train outdoors. But if the forecast is for bad weather, we will try to move the camp indoors when we have the availability to do so. We will text parents before camp starts to notify them of the change and give directions on where to go if applicable.
What happens if my child is injured during camp?
We do everything we can to keep our campers safe. Our coaches are first aid and CPR trained. They’re also trained to follow our Child Protection Policy and Concussion Safety Policy. If your child becomes injured and the injury is treatable at camp, he will be cared for by coaches. If your child becomes injured and requires immediate attention, a coach will call parents and notify them of the situation. If the injury is deemed an emergency, a coach will call 911 first and then the parents will be notified.
Are private training opportunities available?
Youth teams and football clubs are encouraged to build their skills at Hogs N’ Dawgs camps. If you are a youth coach and you’re interested in private training for your team, please contact Coach Moran.
Other questions or concerns?
We want you to feel confident in sending your child to our camps. If we haven’t answered your questions, please contact Coach Moran.
